Commuter Students
Commuter students add an essential aspect to the University of Dayton campus. Their knowledge and pride in the Dayton area help make out-of-town students feel more comfortable and at home while at the University.
Commuter students are advised by Brandy Clifford, Assistant Director of Student Life and Kennedy Union. Students are welcome to stop in, call, or e-mail with any questions, concerns, or queries.
For more information e-mail Brandy Clifford.
Commuters on Campus—a student-run commuter organization on campus
Hello! My name is Kristen Hammaker and I decided to start my own commuter student organization with my Co-President, Katherine Hammaker, in 2009. This club is a way for commuter students to connect and network with students who live on campus and to hang out with other commuter students. We organize multiple events every month. In the past, we’ve had a Commuter Speed Meet, speakers, free lunch events, raffles for gift cards during the holidays, and other exciting events. We thrive on student input and support in order to choose what events to host each month. Please contact us at commutersoncampus@gmail.com and join our mailing list. Feel free to tell us what activities you would be interested in. We also have a Facebook group and a Facebook page.
