Advice to Parents from REAL Students
We asked students the questions, "What do you wish you would have known during your first year at college?" and "What do you wish your parents would have known during your first year of college?".  The answers to these questions and many other questions are helpful food for thought as you are preparing to send your loved ones off to school.  Read their answers...

New Student Orientation Guidebooks 2011
Each year a new set of orientation guidebooks is created to assist new students and their families in transitioning to the University of Dayton.  The Family Guidebook is mailed to the home address of our incoming first-year students.  We also produce a Student Guidebook that is given to each first-year student at New Student Orientation (at check-in for residential students or at their first meeting during New Student Orientation for commuting students).  This guide contains many helpful phone numbers, addresses, calenders, schedules and more that will help new students navigate New Student Orientation as well as their first semesters at UD.
