New Student Orientation
Welcome to the home for New Student Orientation 2011. New students and parents, remember to continue following the plans on porches throughout the summer so you'll be ready to join you fellow Flyers! We're excited that you have decided to join our community and can't wait to welcome you to campus for New Student Orientation!
Move-in Day for first-year students will take place on Saturday, August 20 from 7:00 a.m. to noon. New Student Orientation officially kicks off on Saturday afternoon. Parents will attend Dean’s addresses and a special family program in the afternoon while students will attend their first small group meeting. Commuter students are also asked to come to campus for their first meeting with other commuter students on Saturday afternoon. No one will want to miss the President’s Welcome hosted by University President Dan Curran in UD Arena Saturday evening. Parent orientation activities will be held Saturday and Sunday and conclude after Mass on Sunday.

Details of the orientation schedule are subject to change; check back regularly for updates. You will receive a final, detailed schedule in the NSO Student Guidebook, which will be distributed when you arrive on campus.
The first weekends of the semester will also be filled with events where you can have fun meeting new people, making friends and becoming a part of the University community. The schedule of events may change slightly over the summer. A tentative schedule for families and students are posted now on this site!
