Early Move-In: January Orientation
Living on campus this semester? If you would like to move-in Friday, January 13, 2012, the Office of New Student Programs can request early arrival permission for you. Simply email your student ID #, as soon as you receive it, to Melissa Flanagan at flanagan@udayton.edu and ask for early move-in for January orientation. You will receive an email confirmation a few days before orientation statting that you can check into your residence hall any time between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 13th.

UD is again offering new students the opportunity to drop off their belongings before orientation begins! Students can register for a one hour time slot before move-in day. On August 20, students will be able to bring any additional items, pick up their FlyerCard, attend important orientation sessions and get to know their floormates. Early Drop-off timeslots are available on August 13, 14 and 15 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Early Drop-off times must be prearranged through this web site and are strictly limited to one hour. Registration for Early Drop-off will be July 13-August 14. Please visit housing.udayton.edu/earlydropoff/ to sign up for a time.
In order to ensure the most efficient Move-in day possible, the New Student Orientation staff has esablished a drop and go process that enables multiple cars to pull up to the curb at the residence hall, unload and then move their car to an outer parking area so that other cars may unload. All traffic will be routed according to their specific residence hall assignment. Each student will be asked to print a color coded hang tag for your car's rearview mirror based on the hall where the student is assigned to live.
