Services for Faculty
Roesch Library provides the following services to support faculty teaching, course design, and research.
Course Reserves allows instructors to make articles available to students. For additional help see Information for Faculty
Course Specific Resource Guides suggesting library resources such as databases, websites, and research strategies can be customized for a class or a particular assignment. The guides can be linked to an online course syllabus or a personal Web site. Sample Resource Guides are available on numerous subjects. Send an e-mail to Library Instruction for more information.
Subject librarians are available for consultation to assist faculty or students. Assistance can be offered by phone, e-mail, or meeting.
Study Carrels can be rented by the semester or academic year by UD faculty and graduate students. Contact the Operations Coordinator, Risé Kreitzer, at 229-4228 for rental information. For temporary use, there are several lockable study carrels available on a first come/first served basis. Keys may be obtained at the Circulation/Reserve desk with a valid University ID.
Roesch 2U allows faculty to request items owned by Roesch Library and have the material delivered to their department office. To use this service click on the Roesch 2U van icon in the record and follow the directions.
Instruction and Information Literacy
The Librarians at Roesch Library are committed to helping both faculty and students find and use the proper tools to support research and teaching.
