OhioLINK The University of Dayton Libraries’ mission is to support learning, teaching, and research. As part of the OhioLINK consortium, the library offers access to 48 million library items statewide, 140 electronic research databases, and a wide range of full-text research journals. On campus we offer many virtual services including electronic books and journals, chat reference on the Internet, and digital videos.

mlWe also offer traditional services and collections. Explore the Marian Library, the world’s largest collection of books and items relating to the Virgin Mary, as well as archival and special collections relating to the university and the U.S. Catholic experience. You can consult a live person at the reference desk and search for books and journals in print.

As part of the Federal Depository Library Program, the Libraries receive material distributed by the Government Printing Office. The collection contains a variety of government documents, including Congressional hearings, Census materials, business statistics, and more. Most documents are listed in the online catalog and most can be checked out. Visitors may use the Libraries' visitor computer workstations to search and locate print and online materials.
